The Ringwood Ambulance Auxiliary raises funds for the Ringwood Ambulance Corps. The 100% volunteer organization has been providing excellent emergency medical services for over 50 years. These 30+ men and women freely give their personal time to provide emergency medical care to residents, visitors and those who just happened to be passing through.
Did you know… an ambulance costs over $250,000 and then has to be outfitted for another $60,000? And those supplies need replenishing. Although the borough gives a small stipend to the corps, the rest of the operating expenses come from contributions and the auxiliary.
We sponsor fundraisers like Fish and Chips dinners, Soup and Sandwich Gift Shows, Scrapbook Weekends, Vendor sales, Wine Tastings, Holiday Soup and Craft Show and more. At the end of the year it is our pleasure to present the Corps the proceeds of that year’s efforts.
We love what we do and have fun doing it. It is rewarding to work as a team toward the common goal of supporting our dedicated first responders.
